Underbalanced Drilling

A new technique is presently being introduced in the Permian Basin area serviced by the company.  The underbalanced drilling technique is one that will allow the operating company to basically test the well, while still in the drilling mode, thus eliminating the need for the expensive Drill Stem Testing (DST) service presently required to make the “plug or complete” decision on exploration wells today.  The Well Technicians are trained in this technique and are the responsible party on location for determining the potential of the flowing well while drilling is still in progress.   Engineering and well planning for this service are provided.  View the technical specifications (PDF) of our underbalanced drilling equipment
